Good to see FOE representing at the event.

Just an FYI, but Scott Janousek will be speaking at this year’s Adobe MAX 2010 conference to be held in Los Angeles, Oct 23-27 of this year.

Although details are still pending, rest assured Scott will be taking attendees through some of Adobe’s tooling (i.e. Adobe CS5) to create mobile and device experiences across a number of different form factors.

I was able to upgrade a Samsung Q1 UMPC with Windows7 and it’s working faster than the Vista that was previously installed on the device,  see Figure below.

I was even able to install and use Flash Builder 4:

If you hadn’t been aware, the HTC Hero is one of the first (publicly available) Android based devices to support Flash (i.e. Flash Lite 3.1 right now).

During the writing of our book, we were not able to acquire this device early enough to include much information in our book. However, we’ll be covering it in supplemental materials available on this site.

Mark Doherty (Adobe) has been experimenting with Flash content on the device and has published a two part series (part 1, part 2) on how to leverage the Flash Lite player on the device.
